“Dia kan lebih berdosa daripada aku…”

Oh ya?

Dilihat dari sudut pandang siapa?

Agama apa?

Kitab mana?

don’t underestimate…

A young boy entered the barbershop, and the barber whispered to his customer :

“This boy is the dumbest kid in the world. Watch, while i prove it to you with this game”

The barber put one dollar in one hand, and put two quarters in another hand, he called the boy over and asked,

“‘Which one do you want, son?”

The boy said nothing. He just took the quarters and left.

“What did i tell you? That kid never learns!”

Later, when the customer left, he saw the same young boy coming out of the ice cream store.

“Hey, son! May i ask you a question? Why did you take the quarters instead of the dollar bill?”

The boy licked his cone, and replied,

“Because the day i take the dollar, the game is over”

Kabayan Goes To Hollywood

In Indonesia, exactly in West Java, there’s a traditional story about Kabayan.

Kabayan is a Sundanese guy fell in love with a Sundanese girl, Iteung.

At Trans Studio Bandung, there’s a theatre show about Kabayan.

When i was in Bandung, i went to Trans Studio, and enjoyed the show.

Even though the story was a bit different from the original, still we can enjoy the parody.

The story is about Kabayan’s trying to find Iteung.

They were friends in high school. Iteung had dream to become an international singer.

So, Iteung went to U.S, tried to know about the singing world. She met so many Hollywood stars. Then she became a singer, she changed her name, BritNih.

BritNih became so popular. Everyone knew her.

Including, Kabayan.

Kabayan became so desperate, knowing that he couldn’t ever meet Iteung anymore.

Daily lives, he’s just a sandals seller at traditional market.

He tried to find out about her, tried to call her…

Then, suddenly, he got money to go to Hollywood. He won the grand prize at Trans Music Award, for his ability playing Sundanese music with flute.

His mom gave him lunch, in a thing called “rantang” before he left Indonesia.

Then, when he touched down Hollywood, he saw BritNih, but with another guy, a guy who was so famous, a celebrity, BratFit.

He was so sad, knowing that BratFit purposed Britnih already.

But, of course, when Britnih noticed Kabayan was there, she changed her mind.

She recognized him, a lover from high school.

We all know it’s a happy ending story, of course at the end of the show, they’re married.

The show is more like a Broadway parody. A musical show. With some comedies, and funny acts from each character.

It’s a good show to enjoy!
